“Playground” screening Oct. 30

Every year an estimated 100,000-300,000 children are trafficked domestically for the purpose of commercial sexual exploitation, and yet it is one of the most invisible forms of trafficking.

Playground chronicles the problem of child sex trafficking, here in America. This feature-length documentary follows the stories of several girls who have been trafficked.  The film explores the cultural, social, and economic factors that make them, and all children, vulnerable to trafficking.
