Rape Prevention Education Coordinator, NC State University (posted 4/23/13 on monster.com)
The NC State University community is seeking a part-time employee as a rape prevention education coordinator. The Rape Prevention Education Coordinator is responsible for coordinating educational programming for students, faculty, and staff related to primary prevention of sexual violence.
Duties will include, among others, developing/implementing primary prevention of sexual assault programs using best practices, teaching a 3-credit hour course training Peer Educators, and serving as a resource to individual students and student groups interested in sexual violence issues on campus.
Minimum education requirements are a Master’s degree (or higher) in psychology, women’s and gender studies, social work, higher education, or related field required, and the position requires thorough understanding of interpersonal violence and ability to work with a diverse array of survivors and advocates, both male and female.
