La Fiesta del Pueblo 2013 (SEPT. 8)

Local advocacy group El Pueblo, Inc. is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year!  Save the date and come out for the 20th annual La Fiesta del Pueblo.  This event will occur from 12-8 PM on Sunday, Sept. 8 at Moore Square (200 S. Blount St.) in Raleigh.

La Fiesta del Pueblo celebrates Latino family, culture, and community and showcases popular and folk music, visual art exhibits, dance performances, and children’s activities.  Latino cuisines and art exhibits will also be showcased.

A large group of sponsors will be participating in the event, including ABC 11, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Duke Energy, the News & Observer, Univisión, and many more!  Many of the non-profit participants will include the Community Service Network, International Focus, Triangle Transit, and UNC-TV.  If you are part of a non-profit or government agency or an arts & crafts vendor that would like to participate in this year’s La Fiesta del Pueblo, you can find the registration form near the bottom of El Pueblo’s Fiesta page.  Food vendors can contact Monica Drasal at
