5K to Stop Human Trafficking (October 12)

Our partner Eastern NC Stop Human Trafficking Now is holding a 5K run/walk to stop human trafficking.

The event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 12, beginning at 8 AM at the Greenville Town Common (100 E. 1st Street).  We welcome walkers and runners of all ages.  This is a great activity for a youth group, sports team or other group to do together!  Groups of at least 10 qualify for the group rate, which means each person receives a $5 discount off the entry fees.

Online registration is available on ENC’s page, and for groups, please mail your registration forms to PO Box 959, Farmville NC 27828.  Everyone who registers by September 13 will receive a 100% organic fair trade t-shirt.  Catering at the event will be provided by Jimmy John’s, and Steppin’ Out Party Disc Jockeys will also be providing music.  For more information about entry fees and an event schedule, please visit ENC’s webpage, or you can also email Pam Strickland at encstophumantrafficking@gmail.com.
