Global-to-Local: Reflections on the United Nations Symposium (April 15)

WomenNC Fellows, from UNC-Chapel Hill, Duke University, and NC State University will share their insightful experiences as participants at the U.N. 58th Commission on the Status of Women. They’re returning with new ideas & enthusiasm to address challenges facing women & girls globally and at home!

Join WomenNC on Tuesday, Apr. 15, from 7-9 PM, at the Nelson Mandela Auditorium (301 Pittsboro Street) on UNC-Chapel Hill’s campus.  This event is open to the public, and light refreshments will be served afterwards.

Also presenting on Tuesday night are the talented 2014 U.N. High School Contest Winners, sponsored by co-host UNA–West Triangle Chapter.  Five select local high school project teams will be awarded, having been chosen for their best representation of the mission of the United Nations.
